speaking as someone who never cared about sonic playing these games as an adult, it's weird to me how sa1 is clearly the best 3D wise. sa2 isn't horrible but aside from the story it's clearly worse. unleashed is basically on rails quick time events and that's the half of the game that's not (even by the fans) declared as complete shit. lastly, generations should hardly be considered a 3D game to begin with, half the game is 2D and half the 3D sections are just 2D. the 2D gameplay isn't even nearly as good as even sonic 1's gameplay, fuck generations
