i would say the way that Grandia conveys some of its sentimental scenes is excellent writing. It relies heavily on the ambitious OST but still it is just as much the writing. Despite being "simple" it conveys its core in a very sincere way. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qht9smG7JXs
