what am I in for?got it in a bundle for cheap, back two decades ago I was realy into rouge squadron 1 and 3 and I'm wondering if this game manages to beam me back to better times

Honestly pretty enjoyable.Difficulties above normal are kinda difficult though.It has some kind of feeling to the old Tie Fighter/X-Wing Alliance games. Much more fast paced combat though.

There is a reason it is routinely 90 percent off in sales. I removed it from my wishlist a few years ago. Maybe someday we will get a GOOD VR Star Wars game.

Also if you haven't use the TAA disabling mod here https://www.nexusmods.com/starwarssquadrons/mods/3?tab=descriptionBit tricky to get working. Create a steam_appid.txt and put 1222730 in the game folder, then create a shortcut of starwarssquadrons.exe and append "-vr" to that. It'll bypass EAC and you'll be in offline mode but the visual will be extremely clear.
