It's weird how far removed the first movie is from the games. Like other than the fact that there's a company called Umbrella and there's zombies, the first movie is barely related to RE. And then the second movie is like a combination of RE2+3. It's like someone mentioned to Anderson that there was existing media, and he went "Oh fuck! We've got games we can base this shit on?
