Egypt doesn't work as well for the military side of things, which was an issue Pharaoh total war faced. When people think Egypt they generally think everything up to the military. They'll vaguely know of it - chariots and all, but it's the complete opposite of Greece or Rome where the military part of things is a major appeal (I'd say THE major appeal for Rome). Egypt was big dick military in the late bronze age but it's hard for people to wrap their heads around how chariot warfare would work. It would make for a very different challenge to deal with massed ranks of horse archers and light cavalry, mixed in with some fairly beefy infantry. One of my biggest complaints with chariots in PTW was how they don't feel all that impressive. I get that chariots for the time period were largely meant to be mobile missile platforms and rapid deployment of infantry, but still they feel floaty when charging...
