Finding their weak spots and using the correct type of weapons and ammo to exploit them is fun. The dialogue and VA are pretty bad, as are the characters. The only one remotely interesting and worth caring about is Aloy. It's written like a low effort kids movie at times. But the overall plot and backstory, most of which unfolds in the final quest of the game, are great. I felt a similar way about Metaphor, dull characters, insipid dialogue, decent plot. Graphically the game is outstanding. It might have the single best graphics/performance ratio of any game in the modern era. I was convinced the game was using ray tracing and had to check online, since I've never seen such detailed and comprehensive dynamic lighting in a game without it, besides maybe KCD. You have sharp shadows, specular highlights, ambient occlusion etc all the time, it doesn't suffer from ugly flat grey lighting you get in some games under certain lighting conditions with GI. That combined with long draw distances, detailed enemies, and massively dense fauna, it honestly looks pretty amazing. There you have it, my shill opinion that nobody asked for.
