And at 7 hours of gameplay time, it didn't turn tedious or boring.The soundtrack is pretty cool and the art direction is the highlight imo.But I have to say I wouldn't have paid full price for it or even on discount, South of Midnight is the definition of "gamepass game"

The first tree climbing boss was like a 3D Ori.Only complaints I have are the slow start of just talking walking but once you are allowed to play you get most skills very quick.Other complaint is the fucking yellow(or white in this game) tape/chalk whatever that drags down some of the visual leveldesign. But also they had a loading narrow passage once but put a lore element there which was kind of neat adn new to me.Had the most hilarious enemy of the year with the shitsprinkler. Had me laughing out loud. Not sure if it actually did damage or just muddied you but I was not going to find out.
Should have made a Netflix show if they didn't want to make a game
I honestly didn't expect it, but Hazel awoke something within me with her Mardi Gras outfit, she looked cute
