It doesn't hold your hand and it feels like a real expedition every time you enter the abyss. There's also a story segment that has a lot of the gameplay / items locked, I would recommend playing it for a bit as a tutorial then switching to the "real" mode once you've got your bearing. I really wish there were more games like it
