played since the beginning. movement was fun, everything else was pretty shit (balance, audio, servers). had an okay time but would have had a better time with tf3 instead of apesext. spiteful tf2 fag

Apex I think was the only "good" battle royale of that time. It had a good mix of a cool sci-fi premise with an already established world and lore, and high energy loot-and-shoot gaming. The game is built directly on Titanfall 2, but I like Apex because of how much it reminds of another TF2. The focus with Team Fortress with its classes carries over to Apex with its legends. Each character gets specifically abilities, which can then change gameplay and strategies within the three man teams. Im sure a lot of anons can find shit thats wrong with the game, but I had was too much fun jumping around and blasting people with Mastiffs and R-301s to really notice

Shit like being able to craft banners and bring back teammates with mobile respawn beacon is absolute fucking garbage. Fuck mobile evac towers too. EVO cache mechanic is also stupid and makes game feel like a moba. It was the last straw when they added arsenal stations across entire map. It's just not battle royale anymore.

Yeah I played it a lot since from release through S7 or so, whenever they added Valk. Then it became apparent Blisk was never being added despite being in the files and making sense if Ash came back too, so I just quit.

It's okay for what it is but gets stale and the cosmetics are outrageously priced especially those heirlooms. There's definitely a high skill ceiling to climb with learning all the character abilities, best weapons, loot, and map roations
