What do I play, the old one or the remake?
The old one.The new one was so faithful that all it really does is add shitty unity graphics, dumb down the weapons, and absolutely butcher the soundtrack. Other than that they're the exactly same game, a walkthrough for one will work for the other.I can't stress enough how they massacred the soundtrack. System Shock's unique atmosphere is carried by its crazy dynamic techno OST and the cringe remake replaced it with generic horror ambient crap.

>>729249351also removes a bunch of fun stuff like the hacking and minigames you could play on your HUD.

>>729249021The old one (enhanced edition for better controls), then the remake.

>>729249021there has never been a single remake that is worth playing over the original. would you look at an artist's "interpretation" remake of the mona lisa and say it gives you the same experience? no. please just play the original of any game you wish to play. please. just play the original.
>>729249021the remake if the original hurts your tummy like it does for me
the old one is a bit more cumbersome but is pretty easy to get the hang of after a while, though cyberspace is a very clunky flight sim. Its got crispy pixel graphcis so its kind of hard to understand what youre looking at sometimes, but it works perfectly fine as a game. You owe it to yourself to play it at least onceThe remake looks and plays great, its completely faithful to the original and cyberspace now plays like descent, BUT theres no mini hud to play pong on. Theres some tougher anemies now like clanker bot "boss fights", but ultimately its the same game with a new coat of high res paint
