Why do games keep trying to make them into a weapon? Scythes are not practical for combat.

>>729251825Once you realize that east asia actually did have a lot of scythe like weapons (japanese kama/kamayari, chinese dagger axe and halberd or chicken sickle, indian zaghnal etc.) it starts to make sense that they see europeans scythes as potential weapons. It's really not too far fetched if you shortened the blade, straightened it out, and made it thicker. You basically end up with one of the many weapons of east asia, some of them polearms too.

Long history of using farming tools as weapons once the need arises, also it just looks fucking MENACING. That staff for reach and event he blade seems to want to keep you at a distance. A shame it's not practical, cause god DAMN it's an evil looking threat.
