The whole positioning system was clearly placed to add a layer of strategy to battles, but the whole thing is so obnoxious and has so little payoff that it actually encourages players to engage with it as little as possible. The Snow Queen Quest is a little harder, though mainly because it locks the final Personas behind doing the towers in reverse order. You can beat them as normal, you won't be as strong in the end, so you have to make a choice between making the towers easier, or making the endgame easier. Still, not the hardest game, just kind of annoying. P3's probably the second-hardest after P1. P2 was piss-easy dogshit, P4 treats the player like a retard, and P5 just gives you a ton of broken tools. P5R doubled down on the broken tools while also nerfing limitations imposed on you in the previous game, such as bullets. P3R dialed back on the broken tools, but only to give you shit like Theurgies and physical boosting passives.
