It's just so boring imo, and I'm typically not the one to like dying to bullshit mechanics instead.But as an old school wow raider (wotlk-wod, cutting edge HC/Mythic before it became the norm) I do understand the sense of progression. I just don't like dying because I accidentally queued one attack too many and locked myself into it.

I still don't understand how slop like Baldur’s Gate 3 won GOTY in 2023... 2023 was packed with phenomenal games, such as Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Tears of the Kingdom, Pikmin 4, and Armored Core VI. The Game Awards are nothing but shills for woke DEI slop. Even Dark Souls 3 was robbed of GOTY in 2016. Where is Overwatch now after winning GOTY? It's a dead franchise. The second game failed miserably while Souls games sell more than ever.
