you can run into powerful enemies at the end of the tutorial level. they aren't the worst of the worst but give a pretty good idea of how far the game is willing to take the torture porn.

it's real time action combat. the game is pushing the limits of what can be done in RPG Maker. there are special attacks, dodge rolling, blocking, sneaking... but you're limited by the games very punishing stamina system. without serious investment into combat ability, you're just a little girl. exploration is actually at the heart of the game. discovering new locations, new quests, new characters and items. relying on stealth and allies who can actually fight is a valid way of playing the game, and arguably the default.
