Is project silverfish any good?
>>729262636it's very EAnot enough of everything and the world is what makes the stalker games goodif you're desperate for a stalkeresque experience with more focus of movement and gunplay, then yeah it's serviceable now, but be prepared to walk through giant empty locations with enemies respawning the moment you step out of the region
Very EASome pronouns retardation and commies shit that I hope don't take away from me just hunting artifactsThere's good fundation and I hope the dude can bring out his visions but we'll see.
Play Casualties: Unknown instead.
The game doesn’t even have animations in its current state. You can have fun for a few hours but nothing beyond that.
>>729262636The only stalker-like that looks potentially good is The Path into the Abyss. And Road to Vostok for being hardcore. This game is roblox furfag stalker. But because furfags are so non self aware they think their garbage looks good. Sadly it is eaten up by the mainstream public even when it looks clearly goddamn ugly.

>>729262636More like project Silverbergsteinowitz
>>729263632>>729265126The fuck? is this a botted thread?doesn't strike much confidence in the development team when you see these antics on /v/ huh?
>>729262636I had some fun with it. It's worth pirating but not buying imo. Especially considering the dev is a commie, giving him/them money isn't right.
>>729265334Very EA thread
>>729265126come on bro, at least don't copy paste my fucking foundation typo.
>>729265589Very EA post
Needs large lizard titties and other playable animal races

>>729262636It's fine, but it's in a state where I don't think it will ever be "finished." Whenever the dev decides he needs to make money with a 1.0 release, he'll patch in whatever ending sequences are probably already done, but it will otherwise just be one of those forever projects that never really gets more than it already has and every update will focus on increasingly more autistic details and redoing the same shit over and over instead of adding anything of substance.
>>729262636The most prominent thing I know about the game is the dev watching a streamer stream it and getting mindbroken in real-time as he pointed out every single bug that needs fixing in meticulous detail
why can't we see the player character's arms? Is it about cost cutting? I was about to buy it but decided against it when I saw the weapons just float around
It's good, yeah. Dungeons are spooky, anomalies are dangerous if you blunder into them, artifacts are rare but feel great to find, guns feel powerful and not like arbitrarily inaccurate peashooters, and if you stack a few movement speed artifacts and/or the movement speed trait you can run around the map like doomguy instead of plodding along for gritty realism's sake
>>729268624Exactly, why buy some shitty furry Stalker clone when G.A.M.M.A is free?
>>729262636its very EA, very cheap and easy to work with
>>729262636Not if youre looking for a "stalker-like" game. Ironically, silverfish tries to be exactly that.Biggest problem for me is that the gunfights and the running speed are way too fast, so theres barely a sense of travel, tension and discovery. That combined with the barebone, empty levels fail to deliver you this immersion that youre craving.I dont even mind the furries, but just making everything kinda post-apocalyptic looking and full of depressed fanfic-level lore doesnt make a game "stalker-like". I mean, good luck anyways, but theyd have to change a couple of things drastically to turn it into a more likeable game and not a game that sounds great as an idea but doesnt really take off
>>729270634If I wanna zoom around I play arena shooters/movement shooters
>>729263879It's made by a bunch of retarded furfagsExpect 5-6 years of EA with few updates and then an inevitable crash out where they all drama dump on some shitty discord and then walk out on the project See SSR Wives for a recent exampleOne month from release and the devs all self destructed and walked out because the one girl there was sucking the wrong nerd's dick and the guy funding it pulled some shit with the rights after they tried to hold the entire code and all the assets hostageNow it's never coming out
>>729271398What do you do if you want to zoom around in a game that's actually good?
>>729271507Plenty of games out there that allow just that. But some post apocalypse survival rpg? Nah, unless you just want an arenashooter with an odd storymode
>>729268624>see that there's no arms>get hopeful that the gun system will be like receiver's where you have half a dozen keybinds for each respective action of loading/unloading of a gun, like: Z to unload magazine which puts it in your inventory; 1 to put it in your hand; V to load each bullet; and then Z again to stuff it back into your gun.instead, it's just normal. and there's not even any gun autism like adding rails or sights because the devs don't want to. real disappointment
>>729271716Liking realistic gun handling/damage/physics is one thing, I love me some Receiver, H3VR, and Red Orchestra. But I'll never understand what possesses a man to look at a gun and go "I wish I could dress it up all faggy with rails and lasers and gun charms before I shoot stuff with it"
