It's like a modern day artisan creating a statue of you. He gets to look at this everyday now and realize he made a difference in the world. Maybe not a huge humanitarian one, but enough to have people care about his existence. Enough to have people actually choose to play as his character, a representation of a real life person, in a video game they enjoy playing. That's more than most people can say, who have contributed arguably more into the specialty they work in. He's going to be more memorable than many scientists, engineers, programmers, and even politicians. That's just crazy to me. It must feel really great. Some people on a couple of internet websites might mock you, but they won't be remembered when they die. Nothing they've done has caught people's attention like someone that's been put into a video game.
