As I've grown up, I realized that the top shelf American and European games are far better written than any Japanese anime games and visual novels with more mature and artistically inclined sensibilities.

I have carefully curated the "finest" recommendations from the weeb community.
I played and read Rance, Black Souls, Cell of Empireo, Seraphic Blue, Subahibi, Cross Channel, Higurashi, Umineko, Sakura no Uta, Musicus, Shin Megami Tensei, Final Fantasy, Towelket, Muramasa, Xenogears, Nier, Metal Gear, Fire Emblem, Mother, F/SN, and it's all over the top slop for stunted manchildren. Nothing you can take seriously as a veteran art enthusiast.
