I played the first game and loved it (Silver Sable best girl), binge played through Miles Morales and I'm about to start the second game. What am I in for? Do you think the second game is an improvement over the first?

The stealth sections are not common either and story is not as personal (vide Miles being one who deald with Venom despite not having ANY relation with its host). Otto was jist build better, was better motivated and had way more personal story.

>>729273925I dunno anon I liked the first game and I even partially liked MM (the gameplay part) and I found SM2 really disappointing. The story's awful, gadgets may as well not exist so stealth actually feels worse somehow, the combat is heavy on MMO cooldowns which kinda sucks, the Human-Man sections are longer and can't be rushed through as easily, the black suit is only around for a couple missions, and Venom is written as a one-note goop that makes you evil. And that's not even all my complaints. The nicest things I can say about SM2 is that some of the suits look nice and the mission where you play as Venom is pretty cool. Otherwise it just doesn't have much going for it.
I'm a old leftie but the modern comics, games and overall enterteinment industry "wokism" or whatever is called did more damage to the Left than it helped and MSP2 is one of the biggest examples of that. Seriously, Miles is a terrible character in the comics that only became somewhat good in the first spider-verse movie but the second one ruined that like it ruined Miguel O'Hara character.The best thing for those comic book games would be to only reference 80s/90s stories, characters and most importantly aesthetics and forget the last 20 something years of comic terrible stories but the problem is not only that the whole industry is has gone to shit.
