I will die on the hill that this kind of combat can be good and fun, it's just that a lot of crusty MMOs use this style of combat. They make it gay by making it take forever to kill jobber enemies, and genocide 47 bears to progress. That would be bad regardless of what it's in. So, what games using this kind of combat do you enjoy?

probabily CRPGs like Divnity or baldurs gate. I love being able to pause the game too when playing on the toilet
