Getting good at LoL, DOTA, CS2 or any fighting game is harder than learning an instrument
>>729277495I put over 1000 hours in deadlock these last two years. And I’m in mid rankHow skilled at piano would someone be 1000 hours in
perhaps, but learning an instrument is more likely to get you laid
>>729277753So nothing of value then?
>>729277495Getting good at LoL is really easy
i'd rather learn an instrumenti'm too retarded to do either of these things sadly
>>729277495And infinitely less rewarding.
True. The double digit IQ russian & turd worlder horde who play those games aren't just coping ITT.
I don't play your faggot mobas or your lootbox sim so I'll speak for fighting gamesYes you can spend 1000 hours in it and still be complete dog shit, not to mention every new iteration of a FG is basically starting over like SF4 -> SF5 -> SF6. The only thing that carries over are fundamentals or if your name is tekken where there is heavy legacy knowledge. However, the difference is that you can be old as fuck or start late and still succeed in fighting games, whether you are 40 years old or started in 2025.For an instrument, if you didn't start when you were a literal child then you aren't going to make it big outside your shitty side band or youtube cover of anime song #59
>>729277630Starting to get decent, assuming they were practicing rather than just playing like you were
>>729277495Are you sure about that?
>>729278519That defeatism is way overblown. Yeah you won’t be one of the greatest players in history, but you can start late and still be excellent after 10-20 years, far exceeding the skill needed to “make it” in a band setting. Classical is a little different, but you don’t start getting pretty good till late high school, and the serious work starts as an adult anyway.
