Anybody else overwhelmingly feel regret when actually buying games?
Also, what was the last game you bought and didn't regret buying?
For me it was pic rel. Even though I paid full price for it. 100% worth every penny.

This is literally the only game worth playing on PS5.

>Anybody else overwhelmingly feel regret when actually buying games?
Not since I stopped buying digital games. That is, buying on Steam sales. At some point I realized I will never touch most games I buy on sale.

Slitterhead, which was last year. I'd say Expedition 33, but I'm positive I would've been perfectly content pirating it instead whereas I actually enjoy Slitterhead thoroughly and even made me double dip on different platforms.

I buy games marked off as often as possible to soften the blow. Big publishers can't get away with their gradual price increases and i won't let them. So even if it's deemed as harmful to a developer that their game is not selling on launch, they forced my hand because i reject the higher costs. They should be thanking me that I'm not a pirate at the very least. I also never regretted Astrobot but i felt kind of sad when it was over. Knowing that there aren't many games out there that can compete with it.

the goy brain is very simple it wants to fit in, if thing is popular it is good to them on a personal level.

I do, literally all the time. It's not even due to financial reasons, I feel humiliated when I have to buy a game for myself, like when it has denuvo or when most of the content is gated behind online multiplayer, no matter how fun it may be. But when I gift games to friends or family or in very rare cases where I get to support indie devs, I don't feel bad.

Of The Devil episode 1 is the first personal purchase I made in years that hasn't left me disappointed or angry at myself

I regret buying a PS5 despite loving Astro Bot. I got it for fighting games but then realized I don’t like the modern state of fighting vidya.

For your New Year's resolutions you should write down "touching more grass", if you ask me.
