I still remember the game's first three years—it was the most fun period.
The unique PvP style, hardcore difficulty, and intricate offense-defense mechanics were all incredibly engaging.
It was actually Ubisoft's most successful FPS PvP game.
I put in 1000 hours.
But in the end, Ubisoft managed to ruin it.
The game became increasingly sci-fi, crammed with DEI and LGBTQ+ content.
Then came the damn battle pass, making gameplay as tedious as a day at the office.
Everything became esports, esports, esports.
By the end, I couldn't even tell who the game was meant for anymore.
When I finally quit, I felt relieved.
