At least you replay it. I've replayed DS1 so many times, but I can't bring myself to do another full playthrough of ER. It's just so fucking tedious all around.

Pretty fun, especially diving down to Ash Lake as soon as i had the strength to wield the Dragon Greatsword, without resting at a bonfire so that i could avoid the climb back up. Also, there's exactly 10 Dragon Scales available before farming the drakes, so you can upgrade one weapon for each NG cycle.

But most people shorthand "Dark Souls trilogy" to mean 1, 2, and 3 since they're literally numbered and have loosely connected lore threads (even if DS2 is the redheaded stepchild). ER and BB are more like spiritual cousins-same vibes, different universes.
