>>729292551The metronome is a rhythm bar that allows you to rack up crits when you hit enemies to the music, which are used to level up your weapon or as a reservatory for that if you're already maxed out. This is a feature you can and SHOULD ignore because it will 200% get you killed quickly in the higher difficulties and basically all enemies already die instantly to the final unlockable attack anyway even on the hardest one. And I assume it's still there on the PSP but just invisible.
