Dead money gets a lot of hate when this piece of shit is considerably more boring and lame
>>729292261It's fine.
>>729292261The reason Dead Money was hated is because it forced the "newcomer" FPS derived players to rely on skills outside of guns and speech. Its biggest issue is that its way to easy to get limb breaks on ghost people.Honest Hears is so short that outside of Joshua the rest is completely forgettable.
The only FNV that was actually entertaining and well fleshed out was old world blues
>>729292404I agree, but it works just the first time you play it. Very low re-playability in that regard afterwards. Le funnay brains pales quickly.
its time for all of you to admit that every fallout dlc sucks fucking ass.>muh far harborget a fucking grip you faggot
>>729292465Fallout 4 is shit in general so why even mention it.
>>729292261Who killed the guy in the beginning of the dlc their first time?
>>729292465Actually every bethesda DLC is pretty bad in general.Shivering isles was pretty good, that's about it.
>>729292383Also if you are a melee build then Dead Money has zero challenge to offer you. It negates the entire point of taking your gear away since it literally doesn't matter.
>>729292383how is Joshua not forgettablehe has so little dialog and none of it is particularly interesting or well written
HH>DM>OWB>LR.Joshua is cool and all, but I like HH most for the tribal stuff.I love when games take away all you shit, forcing you to scrounge and be creative.Other than The Sink, I don't really find Old World Blues to be all that interesting. None of the items and weapons you find are all that great. Little Yangtze is a cool location, and the lobotomites and trauma suits are fun enemies.I don't like Ulysses. Shut the fuck up.
>>729292556Yeah okay Mr. Contrarian.
>>729292514Not just the first time, but replaying it years after I did it again because I completly forgot
>>729292261>Dead money gets a lot of hateBecause it's a difficult, annoying slog. HH can be blown through in like an hour
>>729292581not him but i dont even remember much about joshua and ive played the damn dlc 3 or maybe evn 4 times since release. i rememebr more of fucking follows chalk than joshua.
>>729292696I did like Follows Chalk and wish he had a more fleshed out companion quest. His shit is just asking Joshua if he can leave and there's no real debate or discussion about it.
>>729292514me, idk what the devs expected when the white legs gear scaled insanely compared to other factions since they easily start with AMRs and riot shotguns. Im not taking any chances with a tribal the first time i see them after that
As annoying as Dead Money can be, it had 3 really interesting and well written companions + one good villain on top of a great setting full of good mysteryNo other DLC comes close to this, but OWB is funny at least.
I remember shitting myself when I first saw the giant Cazadore but then feeling kinda let down that it died just as easily (at that point) as regular ones.
>>729292404They’re all good. The people that cry about them either get filtered or haven’t played them in the first place and just repeat shit from memes.
>>729292404le toaster of D00M xD
I used to hate HH but it grew on me. Probably has the best writing overall out of all the DLCs and the Survivalist's story is one of the best subplots in the series, on top of his armor/gun being 10/10.
>>729292261I don't really like dead money because it's linear there's not a lot I really like from it. The radio mechanic was really irritating for exploring the first time through and a very minor annoyance otherwise. My most "clear" memory was being up late trying to explore the motel-looking rooms near the end and getting lost in them.Honest hearts is a bit boring but it wasn't the worst. Joshua was the only remotely interesting thing there since he had all the hype from the legion.Lonesome road is pretty linear too but I did like the minor difficulty spike at times. Useless ass grant was kind of a limp antagonist since I never met the guy and he just shows up seething. His decisions were not influenced by mine at all prior and I just didn't really get his hateboner in a way that made him compelling at all.Old world blues was a whole massive place to properly explore and offered more game-breaking things, which is what embodies a lot of fallout games to me. It's a neat detour.
>>729292261its just shallowtheres like 4 characters and 3 of them are sidekicks completely devoid of personalitytheres functionally one quest and literally all you do is fetch shit from caves then slow walk up a river shooting tribalsbasically just a bethesda dlc, all of fo3s dlcs played like thisthe weirdest part about it is them offscreening the entire caravan trip, i feel like you could do so much with so little by just putting the player through some oregon trail shitthen also script killing off the entire caravan squad for basically no reason since their death is completely unimportant to the plot and the player has spent 0 mins interacting with them, why do this, it just makes the entire plot device look stupid
>>729292261The DLC for this game is fucking terrible. I don't know why it's so bad compared to the main game, but it is.
>>729292383>outside of Joshua the rest is completely forgettableLiterally dead nigga is better character than anything bethesda shat out since morrowind
>>729295376Legit if you're braindead enough to explore the boring ass skyrim-like caves you do find some kino lore, it's true
>>729292514i forget this motherfucker exists so i shoot his tribal ass every time i play it
