Hitmanbros are the 2 dlc maps worth it for 6'99$?
They're kino.
>>729293325$3.50 to visit the beach$3.50 to visit the bankwhat the fuck is gaming
>>729293325They're both good maps although the bank is fairly limited compared to Haven.
>>729293325Doesn't matter. Whatever DLC you wind up buying you will always be missing something. Not one purchase contains everything you want. They were actually sued to fix the DLC scam and then made it worse. Fuck this game and the people behind it.
Newest cracked Peacock where?
>>729293325haven is really comfy
>>729293325Seriously just get every map. They’re all great. The only DLC not worth it is 7 Deadly Sins unless you REALLY want certain items.
>lethal trapdoors right in front of the toilethired a Looney Toons ass architect to design those bungalows i tell you hwat
>>729298246is the onehanded crossbow still so broken op or did the Sieker 1 dethrone it as best in slot?
>>729298349>oh no i feel 3 feet in warm ocean water, i guess i die nowsome of that shit in the game is just goofy
>>729298246All DLCs = $150
>>729298451with the sale more like $39
>>729298439>that easy to just abduct a persongoofy, yeah..
>>729298439I guess it could realistically happen if you fell the wrong way and got a concussion or something. Even then, the thing that matters most in Hitman is that it’s own game logic Is internally consistent. Bodies of water being lethal when some sticks their head under it being one of them.
(You) me when they make an Ultimate edition for a reasonable price with everything in it
>>729299402They were sued for the DLC situation and the agreement from the court was to make an addition that includes everything. Like you're saying. But it never happened. Court never enforced the ruling. Hitman creators are scumbags.
>>729299471>Hitman’s managerial and admin department are scumbagsFTFY. The actual devs are amazing and some of the best in the western industry currently. It’s just that the business side of the company is extremely greedy. The only reason Hitman WoA was successful despite its scummy business model is because the actual game beneath it all is genuinely fantastic. WoA is a literal 10/10 near perfect game, but it’s just attached to a shitty business model.
How is it in VR? I would buy on PC for mouse/keyboard control but since I also have a PS5pro with PSVR2 it is kinda tempting to just get it for console and only play VR. I read that people think it's better than Alyx even.
>>729299721I wonder if their James Bond game will have a similar scheme.
>>729299721That's true they are great developers and it is a great game. But we cannot continue to reward shitty greedy companies. The Developers can stand up to them or we The Gamers can bankrupt them. They made their choice.
>/v/ is *still* too retarded to buy Hitman WoA
>>729299814its pretty fun but it has some issues. most disguises with a wristwatch are not properly rigged and deform when you move your hand, using guns you need both hands for is real pain but this could be a me problem. besides that its just immersion stuff, blending in, vaulting etc. pulls you out of your body. Some of the props that practically scream at you to mess around with just cant be touched (best example is in paris the countless hors d'oeuvre and drinks) i mean i get why but still.
>>729293325Some autismo speedrunner will find a way to beat it in 5 seconds.
>>729299471I'm not finding anything about a lawsuit. Post source.
>>729297959nvm just going the starter pack plus patch route which has peacock included apparently
>>729301367whats peacock?
>>729302953custom server spoofer, allows players to run content otherwise not available e.g. limited availability targets
>>729303086Neat, do you get the unlocks aswell that way?
>>729305270bit shady innit
>>729305270The Slim Shady target is kind of middling IMO.
>>729300192This was brought up in court. The developers tried to blame consumers as if they were too stupid to figure it out but even the courtroom demonstration showed there is no figuring it out. It's a maze designed to deceive. There is no correct answer.>>729300780Not my native language.>>729306089https://store.steampowered.com/app/1659040/HITMAN_World_of_Assassination/#app_reviews_hash ... yes, Every other review talks about how deceptive the DLC system is. Intentional scamming.
>>729304345Your peacock save is separate from the official game's save.
>>729306929Thanks for the infos, i will look into it a bit deeper on my own time. Seems pretty cool tho
>>729299471I don't see anything about a court case or decision related to Hitman. Other games piece out DLC like Hitman does so I don't know what you're talking about a court making IOI release a full edition.>>729306830There's a giant picture explaining what is what if you don't want to read the store description. Dumb assholes don't even read the store page before asking, "what do I buy? I have hitman 1 will I get it for free????"
>>729306830>>729299471This never happened except in the mind of a retarded kid who couldn't figure out the DLC even after they massively simplified it and massively lowered the total cost and filesize.
>>729307253>>729307439You're not understanding. The chart is useless. It is a lie. Whatever you buy you will be forced to buy more. Nothing at offers even though it says it does, comes with everything. The court case was all over the place in different languages. I'm not going to do the work for you. They were sued over this DLC mess.
>>729306597completely wasted the spa area, always happy to revisit hokkaido at any rate
>>729308158What makes Hokkaido so good? You’d think with it being on the smaller side and mostly being just one clinical looking medical facility, it’d be worse than it is.
>>729309173the size is deceptive being more vertical than other levels while the slim profile also made them pack all the details more densely for that slight claustrophobic "an npc i didnt account for could round the corner/walk in at any second" feeling and thats on top of being just a very pretty mapi dont think the finale maps from 2 or III really managed to live up to hokkaidos design
>>729307636Hitman was briefly easy to buy when they repackaged everything as WoA and I was finally able to recommend it to people, but then they fucked it again. IOI execs need to be beheaded.
>>729306597It's okay. Better than Busey
>>729311750was i supposed to know who the ozempic fairy was?because i still dont
I bought the physical edition of World of Assasination for my brother for Christmas and I'm hoping it comes with most of everything so he doesn't get confused by the dlc model. He's kind of retarded.
>>729311894I think she is supposed to be his handler
Both are great, especially in freelancer.
The Maldives and Bank are cool. The pirate island sucks.
Is there still no way to data transfer from Epic to Steam? I want to rebuy on Steam but I don't want to lose my save.
>>729312398>pirate island sucks.what makes you say that?
>>729306830Which court? The tennis court?
>>729293325just play freelancer. you can play the maps but they won't be in the campaign unless you pay for them.
>>729297171holy ESL
>>729313976dirt?
>>729314120pfft do you not have email insurance at work?sounds like a poor people problem>>729314129i get that it's a joke but i wonder if it's served on a bed of clay or something
>>729312524sync your IOI account
>>729293325haven is definitely worth it, the bank is pretty lame
>>729314256i mean there is kaolin clay which in some new age hippy foodstuff but i dont know
>>729293325The bank is great, haven not so much, it's unfortunately bugged and guards will see from way farther distances than they're supposed toAlso the mansion area is completely awful. You basically can't go anywhere or do anything suit only with all the NPCs placed where they are, which matters a lot on Freelancer
>>729315130I think they kind of new this, since most Haven Freelancer targets aren’t in the mansion, and the ones that are are in the underground server farm.
>>729315391I literally had a showdown that had two suspects spending basically all their time in the mansion interior and one was my target and I had to SASO as my challengeI reset a bunch of times wanting to see if it was possible, and it was, but it was a total pain in the ass even though I didn't interact with the mansion. I used the other suspect phones to lure the target out. Only time I've ever used that mechanic for any actual purpose, the mansion is that bad
>>729317038>squished and pulled
>>729317842why is the cherry blossom baller so gay looking? its kinda disrespectful
>>729293325Yes both maps are great
>>729317941it's not pink enough to be gay, i think it looks nice.
>>729318189it should look like fresh blood if you ask me.
is the mixer worth it? i guess you can poison it and slip it a barkeep
Haven and Bangkok are the best maps to just hang around in and be comfy, they just have that lounge vibe.
>>729318659a shame we don't get to see any monkeys in the jungle backdropthey could make a funny "Ook!" noise when they die
>>729318659i just wish there where more shit to fuck around with, especially in vr.
>>729293325If you love the game, yes.
>>729319936would be hot without the clipping
>>729316125>SASO on freelancerBallsy guy
>>729320000check'di especially like how her shoes warp into unwearable nonsense
>>729295261>bank is fairly limitedResults may vary I suppose, that ended up being one of my favorite maps to explore and exploit
>>729318659What's comfy about taking a dozen flights of stairs? 47 must be frickin' winded at all times in Bangkok!
>>729293325Did those fuckers ever update freelancer mode? I sunk like 100 hours into that on release and also used the freelancer variations mod, but it got old eventually.
>>729321284Get your cardio in bro.
>>729321284there are like a million areas to lounge around if stairs are too challenging for youi especially like taking the guest room overlooking the outdoor bar, fun fact there's lethal poison in the bathroom on i don't know which difficulty for seemingly no reason other than to reward exploration
I've fucked around on the beach multiple times, that level is worth is alone. I think that level had the vomit dart gun unlock too. The bank was only ok, not bad for a single playthrough.
>>729321959the sicker 1 is so good, for me its a best in slot.
i want a harmonica to blend in with this song https://youtu.be/0IBC0uXcPKQ
>>729322042>the sicker 1i need to make another closeup screenshot of all the poisons with their silly poison pun names
>>729322042It's hard not to use it once you get it. Even before the gun emetic was my poison of choice.
>>729322528nah it's an illegal item with two shots and a reload between em, the real temptress is the damn durian
>>729322741where do you even get that thing? t. 13.8 hour vr only
>>729322472some of the jokes are really good. it feels like half of the team loves the game and the other half is just in it for the money, really strange
>>729322885ambrose island, loot the durian from the larder with the sick cook then use it to poison whatsherfacemcpiratequeen i had some trouble getting it to trigger, took several attempts for seemingly no reason
>>729322741it's literally just a free SASO kill whenever you hit with it, the downsides don't matter when it's so damn easy to use. Freelancer would be hell without it
>>729323047cheers lass, gonna try in a few hours when the family leaves
>>729310487Crazy. People won't forget. James Bond gane looking to be the same DLC scam. And why wouldn't it? They got away with it, but like i said, people don't forget. They're in for a shock.
>>729323206The same map also has a challenge to unlock the oil canister which is really handy. It's fun going back to old escalations, including the ones that never left H1 via Peacock, and seeing how some new items make a huge difference.
>>729324104does it interact with other tools, like a remote explosive?
>>729324440You can shoot it or use a breaching charge to cause an accident explosion like propane tank, or spill it and ignite it with taser. And you can put it in a suitcase for mission start or pickup.
i have every piece of dlc content and i love it all, i have like 600 hours across the trilogy, every map is amazing, best game evar xd rawr ngl famalam tbqh desu
nu hitman is fucking garbage
>>729293582That's cheap
>>729328369It's no wonder kids don't play outside at these prices.
>>729328354No, it's good.
>>729299287>I guess it could realistically happen if you fell the wrong way and got a concussion or something.
>>729328482sadam hussein needs to find better hiding spots this is just ridiculous
>>729329050are you trying to tell me he needs a Sedan hussain?
Better get real generous real fast ioi if you want James Bond to hit anywhere near Hitman franchise. You fucked up, bad.
>>729293325Yes.
