i just played the no mans land map for the first time. i like the aesthetic and the set piece where you have to switch trenches and a scripted ambush happens while you cross but the scale is way off the map feels really small, tiny even. i played with randos and we finished the mission in 13 minutes.

There's a limited number of enemies that can be engaged at any time. When an engaged enemy attacks their blow will land under any circumstances, the only way to not take damage is to block, dodge, slide or interrupt. You can tell when the you are otherwise guaranteed to be hit by the "whoosh" sound starting. Crushers have insane tracking, but it's just the same way every enemy do. Like you see a groaner ten feet from you, you turn and run and just start hearing the whoosh sound.Sound mixing is fucked though, for sure. I think its deliberate, as you can hear Specialists clearly when they spawn and their windups, but it silly when you listen to RAAAA-AAAARGH-AAAAAAH 24/7 and then hear, very quietly "you will die" from a rager who kills you in two seconds and the Psyker says something like "Raaah, raaah! See we can all scream!"
