Every time I play a mod that restores cut content I understand why that shit was cut. The cut content in Fallout 2 sucked, the droid planet in KOTOR 2 sucked, and the extra shit in the VTMB plus patch sucked too.

You put your lightsaber together at a workbench.Three planets after is kotor2, the peragus station, then the space station, then the space station's surface+military base, then the white women's fight club, then you can scrounge up a lightsaber from the next planet.Then you have the rest of the playable planets which is still about as much content as kotor1 in terms of lightsaber-wielding time.
I'd have to play both versions of the game to truly see how I feel but I do recall that with the mod a lot of the added combat encounters are balanced much worse.If you liked how KOTOR played, and you don't mind replaying, why not do two playthroughs?I will say though, don't ever bother with the droid planet, its awful

There's only one part of the game that TSLRCM makes worse and that's adding the scene where Kreia reveals that she's the one who influenced Atris to push for the player character to be exiled. It's stupid, makes absolutely no sense and was cut for a reason.
