You will play it 20 hours a day for 2 weeks and then you will abandon it and never touch it again

Too late, anon. I’ve already sunk 8 hours into making potions and I haven’t even left the starting town. Send help.

Every material can be found in the open world zone if you explore and level the zones enough. Iron, Silver, etc. Also shrines in the open world can be repeated so you can farm certain materials from them like the magic ore that are limited in quantities otherwise.

is this cute and funny?

Many players unlock all the lives and try to keep them all the same level. That satisfies the autism but I think it's a recipe for burnout and isn't particularly efficient either. You can also just pick up one combat life, a couple of crafting lives to make its tools, plus botanist and miner. Then alternate between pushing the story and picking up and levelling other lives.

Ignore the tree dungeons and snoozaland until you beat the story, but do progress Ginormosia once you unlock it. That place is useful for materials and grindan. It also gives you mounts and a swim speed upgrade.

It's a very fun game, and there's very little modern gaming bullshit - there are "dailies" but they are fake, a remnant of development when it was planned to be a phone game or something.

can confirm. threads for this game on release were extremely comfy, even ran dungeons with anons when I got to endgame

Pretty much this. I saw it got a big update recently with a new game mode, but I got no interest to go back to it

I picked it up for the new mode and it's been fun. Runs are decently short at a 20 minute timer (which does pause in menus when solo). Legendary materials are guaranteed exchange items so each run nets you at least 2-3 if you don't want anything else. But I never got around to doing the 900+ year dungeons so I still have that to work toward. I suppose if you've already done those then a few runs for their own sake or just new cosmetics isn't that enticing.

By legendary materials you mean it gives the items you previously had to get from the dungeons?

No, the green ones from Ginormasia like the Don Horn and Meat, for making the Time equipment. This lets you get specific ones, and in bulk, making it easier to make more of the True versions.
