In a decade the new generation of gamers will have massive EGS libraries and won't use Steam at all because they already have their games on EGS. Steam users eventually die out because all new PC gamers use the EGS from the start due to the free games.

Free games would be a perfect way to make customers, the problem is that the service is still unsalvageable after almost 10 years, and 90% of the games are bottom of the garbage bin shovelware.
