Holy shit this game is boring. I love CRPG's, but this is a fucking slog. I made it to Drezen and liberated it, but the writing is so bad it's a chore to get anything done. The plot gives me strong fanfiction vibes. The dialogue reminds me of how fantasy TV-shows in the nineties used to sound. The demons all speak like Bond villains, or a thirteen year old's idea of what an evil creature must be like."Mrwahaha, I'm so evil I'm gonna shit myself. Something something something kill you, something something your soul."Every single companion is a plucky adventurer that was given gifts they never obtained on their own (perhaps with the exception of Greybor and Regill). Everything is cliché and tropy. I liked the character stat system and combat in general, but I think I have to abandon trying to get through this. Is there a lot left after you've taken Drezen? If I have to suffer much more of this writing, I'll lose my mind.
