Yes, and for more reasons than people ever mention in these discussions. Yes, he was snuck in at the end of the game for DEI money, he makes outlandish statements with little to no rebuttal, he doesn't matter to the plot and is just there. Despite spending time with Henry and his crew, he never gets into a single argument with anybody, the Dry Devil doesn't even interact with him at all. Despite being an able-bodied man during the time they were held up in the castle being besieged, he never fought and during the significant period when they were running out of food and everybody was becoming increasingly desperate, Musa seemed to be immune to hunger and his demeanor doesn't change at all. Musa had no purpose to the plot. He isn't essential, but they certainly made him immortal to force him down your throat.
