Where is AA7, Capcom
>>
>>729311206
Never. There's just no way to justify an AA7. Phoenix's story is done and Apollo isn't a strong enough protagonist to carry his own game
Best you'll get is a reboot
>>
>>729311346
New trilogy
New characters
New story
>>
>>729311449
The great attorney games are there for you buddy
>>
>>729311567
Okay, but don't to do it bad this time, Capcom.
Try to do it good.
>>
>>729311567
I did not care for the great ace attorney games.
>>
>>729311346
Franziska investigations when?
>>
>>729313946
Franziska presses young boys to squeeze fresh information from their bodies.
>>
>>729313946
Are the miles investigation games good?
>>
>>729315896
The first one is atrocious.
Haven't played the second, but it is supposed to be much better
>>
>>729315896
It's like the GAA Duology, where the first game is basically a proof of concept and it's alright, but the second one is a big step up in comparison. If you want more Ace Attorney, go for it.
>>
>>729316958
>it's alright
No
>>
>>729316958
>>729318041
I'm getting mixed signals here.
>>
>>729315896
For an AA the first one is on the weak side but I enjoyed it anyways. Second one is much better.
>>729316670
>>729318041
This anon is a retard and shouldn't be listened to.
>>
>>729318356
>but I enjoyed it anyways.
Because you have no standards.
>>
>>729315896
People complain a lot about the first game but it's mostly just because of the final case. It drags a lot (7 hours), it has both Larry and Oldbag and some bullshit moments at the end. The other cases are good though, the second game has far more charismatic characters so it ends up overshadowing
>>
>>729318826
>just because of the final case.
Look me into the eyes and tell me you thought Case 3 was ok.
>>
>my extrajudicial rights are too powerful to let this case end!
>>
>>729318826
I honestly think the last case is kino, culprit felt the most like a "final boss" of any AA.

Idk why fags think GAA 2 is such a massive step up from 1
The game shows clear signs of it being rushed, and the final case is a spectacle where all the answers are handed to you and the main villain is beaten by an asspull
They also took the quirky NPCs with annoying accents and cranked it up to 11
>>
>>729315896
First one suffers from a boring as shit third case and Edgeworth barely being involved in the story in any meaningful way despite being the protagonist but the 2nd rectified both of those issues
>>
>>729315896
The first game is good, and very easy.
The second game is also good, and even easier.
Kay is cute.
>>
>>729319056
I thought case 1 and 3 were fine. Not amazing, but still good. Case 2 and 4 were great though. Maybe the part where you need to cross-examine the judge in case 4 was kinda unnecessary and silly. But otherwise the mystery was solid and seeing Miles interact with Von Karma and loli Franziska actually gave us more insight about how his family life was like prior to becoming a prosecutor, which I liked. As for case 2, mystery was good too and Rhoda and Cammy were both hot as fuck which we all know is very important
>>
>>729319531
>Kay is cute
True. Still the worst assistant.
>>
>>729319204
Because it was Japan exclusive for a long time. And then was a long time where the only way to play it was to patch a rom with a fan translation.

I've been beating the drum since I first got to play it with the translation that it was decent, but nothing more.
But whenever you have a game that has an aura of exclusivity around it, you'll get people overhyping it.

Same thing happened with Sonic CD, where once it become more easily playable, people started to rightly point out the game's many flaws.
>>
>>729319981
I don't really need the cute young girl assistants to do much other than being cute girls to be honest. I appreciate Kay's chemistry with Edgeworth and Gumshoe. And for that matter, just to be equal and shieeet, I don't really need Gumshoe to do much other than being a cute man.
>>
>>729319204
Investigations 2 have a rom translation following that likes to drum itself up as saviors of a fantastic game that was stuck in Japan jail if it wasn't for them. It's good, but playing through it I definitely can understand why it wasn't immediately brought to the rest of the world. It's rushed and the difficulty setting is on baby mode, even when compared to other Ace Attorney games. You barely have time to even think of the obvious solutions before the game basically tells you what to do. If there's such a Ace Attorney game that basically plays itself, it would be Investigations 2.

I just need him to be happy and well-payed.
>>
>>729321318
Maggey is for sure handling his happiness at least. But as for his salary, I'm afraid it's a bit light.
>>
>>729321448
Uh oh, fujos aren't gonna like this one, pal.
>>
>>729321662
To hell with the fujos!

I meant to say TGAA 2
>>
>>729311206
busy with mega man prease understand
>>
>>729311206
Be patient anon, it has to wait until we install the new anti cheat on our back catalog. Yes, even the single player ones.
>>
>>729321871
Whoops, I assumed you meant investigations 2 because everyone else was talking about Investigations.
I think TGAA2 is considered better just based on the merit of not ending in a cliff hanger, not having the worst second case in history, and IIRC It's starting case is somehow shorter than TGAA1's starting case.

Basically, the pacing is better, which is the biggest weakness of TGAA1 and is the biggest hurdle to me ever touching that duology ever again.
>>
Any news regarding Takumi's involvement with the series?
>>
I wish they didn't kill manfred von karma so soon
>>
>>729315896
Did them recently. They are pretty good.
Maybe the best OST overall in the serie too.
I dunno why everyone don't like the cases in the 1st one. Case 3 is weak, and the last case drags a bit too long yes, but they are still pretty good.
On the other hand I found case 2 and 3 in AAI2 really ass. 4 was great and 5 started high but unfortunately has one of the shittiest ending with one of the shittiest big villain in the series.

>>729311346
Capcom explciitely said they want to use the Ace Attorney Franchise; There's nothing left to remaster/collection so that can only means some kind of new game
>>
>>729311346
Apollo in Kura'in can actually work as a solo character. He is no longer held back by having to share scenes with Wright and they finally managed to make him something more than "red, loud Phoenix" by the end of AA6.

On the other hand they can now take Athena into any direction they want since she no longer has to share scenes with Apollo. Then again she works better alongside Blackquill than with Wright.
>>
>>729311346
Mia trilogy in between 3-1 and 3-5
>>
>>729325561
with a genki boy assistant?!?
