I just bought Nightreign, I'd put it off for a while because it looked like re-used asset from slop and from what I'd seen it really didn't look good. Despite that though, I bought it on sale and I have fallen in love with it and am having more fun that I did with elden ring. I've been playing Revenant as my main because she is the cutest, also the base game ending was certified KINO, my eyes got a little teared up because I totally wasn't expecting it after beating Helostor to just go straight into a cutscene with such great music and see my beloved Revenant turn into light and fade away and dawn arrive. >>729325591She's too reliant on RNG, far more than other characters. 9/10 runs with her are going to be bad, and in most cases, all runs end on night 1 if you're playing solo, at least from my experience. Sometimes you can go an entire run without finding a single good offensive spell, and your damage output would suffer, and you end up not contributing in a team. The summons die in 2 hits to just about anything, so even if you're using them as a distraction, the enemy will only be distracted for like 2 seconds which isn't enough time to bring a teammate back up if they happen to be at 3 bars. Oh yeah, and good luck bringing her into deep of night if you care about surviving literally any hits at all. She's my favorite character, I play her the most, but she's in desperate need for some sort of buff or adjustment because she's way too hard to play consistently. You can have a scuffed run with Raider or Wylder and still perform better than you would with having a GOOD run with Revenant.
