Just realizing that i can simply, unapologetically do shit that i want to for the first time while not caring about social norms or expectations was liberating and helped me in the long term. I don't think it was ever a pure cope mechanism, and right now i have lot more aesthetic appreciation in it. If i would had money for a therapy then, i think i would've just ended up being massively more boring.I never wanted to turn into one or some shit like that explicitly, but my mind likes playing tricks on me so i still dream of being in a different body time to time, and these dreams are quite vivid and enjoyable, even though i do not delude myself into thinking that it's something i have to achieve or something i should build my entire personality around.
