Wait a second, doesn't exclusive fullscreen (on Windows) benefit when it comes to using Gsync / FreeSync, if nothing else? I thought to get the full benefit of the VRR techs you needed to be on exclusive fullscreen
>>729322382No, just make sure "use G-Sync in windowed mode" is checked in the control panel or if AMD has a setting, make sure that's active too. Though to be honest, I doubt that even matter. Frankly, it just seems like VRR always works no matter what as long as the FPS is in your monitor's sync range.

If you're on windows, you use borderless fullscreen period. The extra latency at this point is gone (there's even a setting for that), HDR and VRR work.If you're on linux, you use gamescope, unless you're an nvidia loser.

And nvidia supports HDMI 2.1 somewhat.

That's what I should do. Maybe tomorrow I'll get another increase of 12 to 1000fps because these madmen at microsoft intended to make me, the gamer, bad at videogames and I need some of those mad tweaks.
