How long until vr gets upscaling ai technology?
I want to render games at the very minimum 4k per eye, and even the 5090 is nowhere near capable of that for newer games through uevr, luke ross, ect.

Why are you so scared of ai gramps? If the visual quality is indecernable from native, what's the big hurdle?

its called DLSS and it exists already.
fun fact about the Lossless Scaling dev is that he refuses to use Nvdia hardware vectoring calling it "proprietry" yes still sells his software based slop on Steam.

vr doesn't use it because it looks significantly worse than native (bad because you'll actually see all the pixels in vr), increases latency (bad because you're extra latency sensitive in vr), and has ghosting that will never be solved as long as it's a taa derived post process filtering method (ghosting has always been bad, but you'll notice it vr or not)

wouldn't it be even more noticeable and shittier looking up close?

>vr gets upscaling ai technology?
upscale introduces input lag, not acceptable in vr

I don't.
