I've been playing mecharashi recently which, if I udnerstand correctly, is a canned/rebranded front mission gacha after the devs divorced sqexlaunch units look mostly real robot but later stuff gets a bit out there
Phantom Brigade seemed neat for a turn-based game, though I heard that it gets a bit stale when you're about half-way through it

Most TRPGs give you so many characters and overload you with options. I liked having quite a small cast and needing to make the best use of every unit, including the weaker ones.

The siege on Freedom City is the best mission from either campaign.I will say the writing shows the biggest jump in quality. The characters and dialogue in Kevin's campaign are so much better, it really stands out if you play both campaigns back to back. Some sections feel a bit more railroaded but the scenes flow pretty well so it's nothing to complain about, really.
