OpenXcom is what's neat, and it has very interesting mods, but its ultimately held back by the base game. The way the game is programmed in a 3 dimensional space with pseudo-ballistics is also interesting. But the gameplay itself is trite and cancerous, and it's effect on the industry has been to spawn countless fucktarded overwatch simulators. There is a myriad of better tactical games which normalfaggots are squeamish about because any wargame beyond 40k is scary.
