>MIT graduate with a PhD in physics>Hired just to push carts around Why???
have you tried asking him
>>729335273He's a highly trained professional.
>placed into a specific position by the G-man
>>729335273That was the only position not asking for wokr experience
>>729335273he's just like me, I also push carts around
He clearly does other stuff there, he was probably so good at other stuff that they trusted him with whatever they were gonna do with the crystal. He’s a trained professional!
it was his first day, they were just hazing him
How come Gordon gets to have all THIS
>>729335273postdocs do be like dat
>>729335273It's easier to teach a MIT graduate physicist basic exotic materials handling than it is to teach a guy who moves the shopping carts at walmart theoretical physics.
>>729337029There's nothing harder than making phd level experts do manual labor.
I'm just a lowly engineer, but a lot of companies take highly trained STEM professionals and force them to do bullshit like move equipment, clean up labs, cut POs, schedule meetings, write reports nobody will read, and much more non-technical bullshit.
>>729335273He was in the barrel that day.
>>729335273 Because theoretical physicists are just one bad week away from mopping floors. You think they fund teleportation research with prestige? That crystal-pushing gig was the pinnacle of NSF budget allocation.
>>729335273G-Man manipulated his boss into assigning him that task.
>>729335273100% acurrate thohe'll get the readouts and spend the next week writing another incomprehensible paper
>>729341824Tell me what you know about the NSF
