>>729335610I mean for starters, the franchise should realistically be more than just fine and instead we get below average games even by indie standards now. The only saving graces are the combat, storyline, music and monster collecting aspects. That was more than enough for me to like it a lot, but it is ultimately just a casual power trip in a terrible environment/map with all the side content being completely uninteresting unless you're an autist who likes collecting monsters. It even has many stutters which make traversing feel terrible, especially when you're moving through mud or water.
