the last epoch was actually the last epoch
>>
bought by investment firm and or china
>>

Worse, sold out to China and now their Chinese overlords are planning to mainly use AI to develop all their games going forward to cut down on costs. They're also the people that bought out Subnautica and fired the original devs.
>>
>>729345197
Krafton bought them
>>
>>729345259
10 years of development and hundreds of millions of dollars and game development has stalled and it's full of bugs that have existed for years
>>
People seem to be crying about needing to purchase a new class.
Which is pretty standard practice when a new class is added to ARPGs. I don't get it.
>>
>>729345457
for sure it's standard practice, but they stated as a pledge during their fucking kickstarter at the very beginning they would NEVER charge for new classes or other purchases outside of the one-time purchase of the game. Only cosmetics. This is a complete reversion on their previous stance, and the justification for it was middling at best. Valid community crashout imo

D4 has a cash shop and a battle pass on top of being full price
last epoch players are literal children
>>
why did the last epoch guys make a game without an endgame

I want you to remember, everyone whining about this supposed travesty of paying for a new class has probably spent hundreds to thousands of dollars in path of exile.

>D-diabl...

Christmas is over anon

grim yawns next expac

>any good arpg
never ever since they're all gay seasonal shit nowadays
>>
i dont even think its paid classes. i read it as alternate skill trees. unless they clarified it.
>>
People got upset extra classes aren’t free now that they gotta pay to keep the lights on as they don’t have the infinite China money PoE has.
>>
I wasn't aware Diablo needed help dying
>>
>>729347008
diablo probably the only one that's doing well at the moment with how much poe2 is shooting itself in the foot every season launch
>>
>>729344880
>woke colors
into the trash it goes
>>
>>729346481
is PoE not good? I'm not ARPG veteran but curious why
>>
>>729346481
Grim Yawn, I guess.
>>
>>729347194
it's...fine, but you have two options
PoE1 is super autistic minmaxing, endgame maps are the thing the game is now balanced around, the progression is fun when you become super saiyan but you often hit brick walls or die for stupid reasons (dying to a single mob that you can't see that has 20 mods on it)
PoE2 is supposed to be a soft reboot/rebalancing where they trim down the amount of mechanics, but they already fucked it up in endgame where you zoom through maps just as fast as in poe1. The campaign is...fleshier, but that doesn't mean better, it has a lot of really bad parts and the skills you use feel more forced upon you by the devs.
