just installed it and this is legit.

it's a fucking 1:1 pc port of gow3 with tons of assets from the other games, with a few additional maps.

actually insane that this is about to come out. seems to use steam for matchmaking. i didnt find any lobbies but could host my own and it backfilled with bots without issue

has an entire progression system to unlocks skins etc, kinda like the original/old cod games

you run the installer, then select install and select the file above

once the launcher is installed you then select each of the content packs to install, which are just massive map packs

idk what happens if you try to DL from inside the launcher, OP said not to so i didn't


the game shows up as spacewar on steam when running, so i assume that's how matchmaking is going to work. atm all you can do is host lobbies which bots will backfill, i didn't try horde but i assume it works great

i need to stress this feels like a 1:1 port of GOW, no jank at all. if you're using a controller disable steam xinput as it breaks the controller support, took me a minute to figure it out

i have absolutely no idea, but it's genuinely a 1:1 port. like every movement/mechanic feels identical. i guess the source was leaked at some point? i dont see how its possible to remake it, its definitely an actual port

the weapon tuning under the "refined" preset is a bit different (lancer has actual recoil), i couldnt figure out how to toggle the original tuning. feels like the gnasher it a bit weaker under this preset as well
