Want to play a CRPG but my computer can't run BG3 well, which of these should I get?
>>
>>729349042
BG1 and 2
>>
BG3 sucks ass anyways
>>
Fallout 1 and 2 are free on Amazon Luna prime rn
>>
>>729349042
Pathfinder Kingmaker's cool. Idk about the sequel tho it feels like it's more of the same, but with slightly different artstyle (shader?).
>>
>>729349042
From that list? Fallout and Arcanum.
>>
>>729349042
Arcanum steam is known to be problematic, unc
>>
>>729349042
Turn-based or rtwp?
>>
>>729349042
Fallouts first, if you want a straightforward, exploration experience
Divinity if you want tactics and experimental side of BG3, and like fantasy humor
Baldur's gate 1,2 for fantasy and a bit more nerdy stats
Icewind similar to BG but it's pure dungeon crawl, even all of the dialog options are like "ok", "no" or "Murder hobo mad" variants
Planescape is frankly a point and click book adventure first and foremost
Neverwinter expansion campaigns if you like very atmospheric dungeon crawls mostly solo
Wrath for max build autism for next 120 hours at least, it's a bit wonky performance wise.
Arcanum after everything else, it's for CRPG nerds who can handle junk and lack of polish, lots of filler stuff too.

The pathfinder games are nearly as heavy on hardware as BG3. They're really unoptimized.

Play Might and Magic 6
>>
>>729349042
out of those? DOS and DOS2

i also recommend neverwinter nights 2
>>
>>729349042
Wrath of the Righteous is probably the best, but it might be more demanding than older games. Icewind Dale is nowhere near as good as BG1&2.
You should add Temple of Elemental Evil to your list. I think it's on Steam.

>>729351217
why is this the game that best depicts asymmetric aerial warfare against tribal enemies.

All of them are pretty solid and CRPG staples.

Get Pathfinder Kingmaker.
>>
>>729352765
yeah, when they should run on a Riva TNT2
>>
>>729349042
play underrail
>>
Get Archaelund, it's just like BG3 minus the woke and you can play it on a potato. Pure CRPG goodness that old school autists have been craving for.
>>
>>729351217
I will pick this up on the GOG discount because you made it look fun. Don't even have potato hardware either. Just curious to play something old school.
>>
Is Atom RPG worth playing?
>>
>>729358695
it's nice reference to old fallout before bethesda takeover, basically fallout 2 in soviet. Currently playing their latest game and it's quite interesting so far
>>
>>729358695
It's a fallout clone in everything including UI layout
>>
What do you all think of Banquet for Fools? anyone gotten around to it? artstyle looks good is the appealing part i suppose.
>>
why do I never see people talking about pillars of eternity, is there something wrong with it?
