/v/ is so starved for quality games that a single good indie RPG (not great, just good) makes everyone's year. How much worse can the industry possibly get at this point?

It’s just that the bar is buried six feet under thanks to triple-A being allergic to fun. When a mid-budget RPG doesn’t launch with 80 bugs and a battle pass, it looks like a masterpiece by comparison.
If you've seen mobile games (which make more money than pc games) then you know it can get so much worse
