"seinfeld isn't funny" - it was so foundational and influential that you've probably already seen every single trick the game has in 100 other games by now. doubly so for HL2. if you can just accept that and enjoy the ride it's still a fun game, solid shooter. you just have to understand that games were not like this before it came out, shooters weren't diegetic cinematic games like this generally speaking.
