For whatever reason the Saturn always reminds me of Christmas. I never had one growing up or anything. I think it’s cuz how a bunch of games have holiday vibes, plus those holiday themed splash screens. I always manage to play it on Xmas day as sort of an unintentional tradition. I hope you all had a great Christmas!

The saturn controller is so fucking good the d pad is still the greatest of all time.
>>729355541I use it whenever I can.
>>729355541The eternal debate: Model 2, or the 3D pad?
>>729357709I think I prefer the 3d pad personally, I have quite large hands and I enjoy the triggers and button feel. Both are enjoyable to use though, some of the best controllers out there. I still wish 6 button pads became the standard.
>>729357902>I still wish 6 button pads became the standard.Me too, brethren. I'll never understand Sega's decision with the Dreamcast controller design.>downgrade from 6 buttons to 4>still only one analog stick while the competition had two>still only two triggers while the competition had four>texture of the analog stick felt weird compared to every other one on the marketLiterally the only thing that carried that controller's design was the "ahead of its time" VMU cards. More games needed to have VMU minigames besides just Sonic Adventure, though.
>>729353182Do you have recommendations other than Nights?
>>729353182looks comfy
>>729353182Too comfy for here
I remember finding a saturn at goodwill for $40 last decade. I didn't buy it.
>>729353182>unintentional tradition.ive done that with wc2 a bunch of times somehow (including this year). it's always the snowy tileset that reminds me(random pic not mine)
>>729353182I bought on over the pandemic and loved every minute of playing it. I played Policenauts, Sakura Wars, Bulk Slash, Princess Crown, DOA, Panzer Dragoon series, Vampire Savior, etc. It truly is such a magical system!
