Unironically I wish the remake changed MORE about the original game, since we all know they weren't going to stick to the original that closely.A few new enemy types (more developed Mandarins and maybe Flesh Lips are regular enemies for the hospital area so its not just nurses and lying figures all day) woulda been good. Also they just needed to cut down on a lot of fights. Like for example why make the player fight a Lying Figure in the Happy Burger? Or lots of the other shops? Just let the game breathe.

So saving ammo makes the game give you less ammo. The final boss being a resource dump wouldn't have been an issue if you could actually save up ammo to use.
