Jedi Knight II has better story and levels, Jedi Academy has better gameplay. Haven't played the others. Couldn't really pick a favorite between the two.

I agree as well but since Jedi Academy is more fun to play it is more fun to replay, so it kinda wins.

jedi knight/mots: great story, level designs, gameplay and enemies. i like how the bosses were mostly all sith. outcast and academy have better graphics and gameplay, but the story isn't as good.

i wish they made a new one (fallen order/jedi survivor is a different genre).

As this >>729357306 anon says - outcast is a better adventure and has more interesting exploration - Academy has some additional features gameplay-wise, but it's too "new generation light-hearted sequel" compared to Outcast, feels somewhat like Teen Titans do compared to Batman outside of acid rain fortress levels. New siths in academy are lame compared to ubermensch with corthosis armored speed ninjas of Outcasy, first and foremost gameplaywise, but designwise too. Tavion with her facepaint is just a jobber. Ghost, despite being in lore, just doesn't belong in Star Wars stylistically, he looks stolen (and slightly remade) from something like Fable or Warcraft 3. And, although i understand, that it is hard to think of many good unique separate missions, Academy just feels too short. And that this missions are rarely directly plot-related only increases this feel - as if you're watching the movie where two thirds of the content are fillers.

JK1/mots is my favourite. Great levels and the guns/powers are simple and effective. Also great cinematics. I even enjoy the mots story and in-game cinematics even though it's kinda wack. Evil Kyle is funny.
DF1 I never finished, got bored.
JK2 is decent but felt a bit soulless and the levels aren't that fun.
Academy is kinda ass.
I'm mostly in it for exploring the levels though.
