Why are vidya remakes so soulless?
>>729357508because remaking art just simply doesn't work, a piece is made by specific mindset in a specific situation and specific culture and time, aka a lightning in a bottlenobody sees cave paintings or ancient egyptian art and thinks "wow thats cool, if only there was a 4k 60fps movie remake.." because they subconsciously know it can't be redone at most poorly imitated
